As most of you know I signed up for an athletic training class and we do quite a bit of running.
It has been my goal for the past 2 years to run a 5k and I finally did it! Well I actually ran a little bit over but still! I have done the couch to 5k app and had to start over several times.
I decided to see how far I could run today then I decided to try for 2.50 miles. Then I told myself if I ran 2 miles I would be happy, which I hit after 25 min. I said I would run 30 min and see how I felt. After 30 min I decided I could probably complete my 1st goal of 2.50 mi so I did and then I said I was almost there so keep pushing. At 37 min I finally hit the 5k mark and said hey what the heck why not make it an even 40min! I mean my feet are already blistered so why not lol. I completed 3.29 miles!!! Woohoo
